Charles E. Allison Charles E. Allison was born in 1847. He entered the Civil War on January 23, 1865 and served as a private in D Company, 40th NJ Volunteer Infantry of the Union Army, for which he earned a $685 bounty from Delanco. His residence before and after the war is unclear. Charles died December 20, 1913 and is buried in the St. Andrews Graveyard in Mount Holly, New Jersey.
